INDIA OUT OF T20 WORLD CUP 2012

INDIA LOST ONLY 1 MATCH IN THE WORLD CUP BUT STILL THEY COULD NOT QUALIFY FOR SEMI FINALS !!!

India could not qualify for Semifinals in spite of winning 2 matches out of 3 in the Super Eights.

Who Kicked them out of the tournament ?

Australia or South Africa or Pakistan ?

I would say they kicked themselves out of the World Cup.

Group Stage:


India Vs Afganistan
Result: India won but struggled in front of Afganistan

India Vs England
Result: India won. Normal batting and Good bowling


Super Eights:

India Vs Australia
Result: India Lost. Poor batting, Poor bowling, Poor Fielding

India Vs Pakistan
Result: India Won. Good Bowling and Good Batting

India Vs South Africa
Result: India Won but huge struggle. Needed to stop SA to less than 121 but they scored 151 runs.



AUSTRALIA AND PAKISTAN HAD BETTER NET RUN RATE THAN INDIA WHICH DIS-QUALIFIED INDIA FROM SEMI FINALS.

I think it was the over confidence which led them to this disaster.
Sehwag was dropped for 2 matches, Zaheer Khan was dropped for 1 match.
Why Ajinkya Rahane and Manoj Tiwari were sitting on the bench even after Sehwag, Gambhir, Raina, Rohit Sharma and Dhoni dint perform well in more than 2 occasions.
India played 2 matches with 6 specialist bowlers. It worked well against England but where were those specialists against Australia. Harbhajan Singh took MOM against England but why he failed against Australia?
Part time bowlers were bowling ahead of the front liners. Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma are better bowlers than R. Ashwin if we consider the order in which they bowled.
Where is UMESH YADAV ??? WHY IS HE DROPPED ???
Mr. Dhoni is very smart he will come up with a qnique explaination for all this, but truth is different.
Suresh Raina is not even dropped once in spite of performing bad.
Dhoni dropped even the great Sachin in England but did not touch his favorite players.

However, for BCCI this T20 World cup is not of any kind of importance.
IPL is Super hit.
India won a series against New Zealand in India.
Why should they worry at all ?

But, BCCI, Dhoni and selectors should think about the millions of Indians who are crazy behind Indian Cricket.
Politics in Selection gives us a team with ordinary players.
Politics in Captaincy gives us de-motivated players on the ground which leads to bad performance.

Time to rethink and millions of Indians are waiting for BCCI and Dhoni to take corrective action and give importance to cricketers on merits.
