DO WE KNOW, WHAT IS THE TRUTH!!!!!! Bollywood is all set to re-narrate its own flawed version of Mughal history in Ashutosh Gowariker's forthcoming movie Jodha Akbar. The Rajput princess Jodha and Mughal emperor Akbar were earlier featured as a married couple in K Asif's Mughal-e-Azam which is often rated as an all time celluloid masterpiece. But reputed historians have flayed the careless and casual attitude adopted by filmmakers while dealing with historical facts. According to them both movies have inaccurately depicted Akbar's daughter-in-law Jodha Bhai as his wife instead of Harka Bhai whom he actually married. Ironically history claims that Jodha Bhai was not even born when Akbar entered into a marital alliance with the Rajput rulers of Amber. Historians claim that Jodha was married to Akbar's son Jehangir (Salim) in 1586 and later gave birth to Shahjahan who went on to build the world famous Taj Mahal.
Music is by A R Rahman, who is a great music Director and a great singer too. A R Rehman is o of the Best Music directors in India.
Again Bollywood and history is standing against each other.
